Day 3,

After the insulation was put down there was still a few gaps that we decided to fill with spray foam, we didn't expect it to expand as much as it did. But will be easy to cut off once dry.

We started to glue down the Damp proof course which later the sub floor will sit on. This step is important because the plywood can't sit directly on the steel frame.

It is pretty good to have a covered place to do this work, today was pretty wet!

Sunday will probably be the last day

spent on the foundation on Hus.

As much as I'm dreading to put the walls/ framing together. I can't wait.

Once my brother brought a bunch of new furniture from Ikea, me and Aaron was there helping him putting them together and my conclusion is that if you can get past a huge task like that (everyone who have put Ikea furniture together knows what I am talking about) you can get through anything.

Hej på er! Fantastic project - am excited to see how it unfolds over the blog... and visit once finished of course! I would really find it interesting if at the end of each post you list any new materials used and their costs - anyone wanting to do this might find this really useful and you could use it to keep a running tab of your budget ;) ... go well! Bev, Lisa & the kids xx.
